		<description>Ryan, I stumbled upon your blog from a search engine when I had a random thought that TechSideLine used to be called HokieCentral. What you wrote is beautiful. I am 14 years removed from Tech and half a world away, and I still feel a strong attachment to the university. I follow the Hokies religiously, even my wife can&#039;t understand. The shootings felt like a punch to the stomach. It was strange to see the green of drill field and limestone gray of the buildings on TV, but under such a different light from the happy memories of my undergraduate years.
